Florida’s Normandy Insurance Promotes Sublet to VP of Business Development
Normandy Insurance has promoted Robert Sublet to vice president of Business Development. Formerly a senior field underwriter with Normandy, Sublet’s new role will focus on accelerating Normandy’s growth.
During his tenure at Normandy, Sublet has worked on developing Normandy’s marketing initiatives, while assisting with Normandy’s underwriting division.
Sublet was previously the territory sales manager for a national insurance group, and also worked with Philadelphia Insurance Co., CNA Insurance Co., and Allmerica Financial Corp. in commercial lines underwriting, marketing, agency appointments and business development.
Sublet has a Florida 440 insurance license, earned his bachelor’s degree from Creighton University in Omaha and his master’s degree from the University of Nebraska.
Normandy currently has $22 million in workers’ compensation premium, $10 million in surplus, and a combined loss ratio of 89 percent, according to the company.
Normandy Insurance Company provides workers’ compensation products for Florida small and mid-size business owners. The company is headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
