Former Alabama Police Chief Charged with Insurance Fraud for House Fire

A former Alabama police chief is one of two men charged with insurance fraud for an October house fire.

Sixty-two-year-old Thomas Fuller and 47-year-old Glenn Fuller were arrested Saturday and taken to DeKalb County Jail, reported AL.com.

Authorities said the house fire occurred Oct. 18 in Valley Head.

Thomas Fuller was the police chief in Hammonville, a small town in northeast Alabama, during the time of the blaze.

Glenn Fuller isn’t related to Thomas Fuller, but was staying with him during the time of the fire and in the town of Tallassee when the two were arrested.

Harris said the investigation into the fire is ongoing. It was unclear whether Thomas or Glenn Fuller has a lawyer.
