Burns & Wilcox Brokerage Opens Atlanta Office, Hires 3 Brokers

Burns & Wilcox Brokerage has opened an office in Atlanta and hired three specialty property brokers for the new location.

The new hires are Barry Whitton, managing director; Brent Lazenby, broker; and Thad Crane, broker.

Whitton will lead the new Burns & Wilcox Brokerage team in Atlanta. He brings 20 years of experience in both retail and wholesale brokerage, most recently as senior vice president at R-T Specialty.

Whitton will be joined by Lazenby, formerly vice president at R-T Specialty, and Crane, formerly senior vice president at Breckenridge Insurance Services.

Burns & Wilcox Brokerage, a business unit owned by The H.W. Kaufman Financial Group, specializes in wholesale insurance brokerage. It has additional offices in New York City; San Francisco; Dallas; Tampa, Florida; and Irvine, California.
