BOLT Buys 2 Agencies, Opens Florida Office

The Business Owners Liability Team (BOLT) insurance agency is opening a regional office in Sarasota after acquiring two Florid agencies.

BOLT has acquired the Sarasota-based PRG Insurance Agency and Florida Direct Insurance Agency.

Robert Rizzo has been named the regional director for BOLT Florida. He will manage the company’s daily operations and lead its Florida acquisition strategy. Rizzo previously has operated insurance businesses in Florida and Ohio.

The Farmington, Conn.-based BOLT is a national insurance agency that sells insurance for small businesses.
