Medicus Insurance Appoints Roque as Southeast Market Manager

Austin, Texas-based medical professional liability insurance carrier, Medicus Insurance Co., has hired Michael Roque as Regional Market manager for the Southeast region.

Roque has been actively building a network of healthcare providers and agents in the Southeast territory, as Medicus continues to enter new states. He works exclusively with the Medicus’ agency force in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina and Virginia.

Roque has more than 10 years of industry experience, including underwriting, syndication and sales experience from both a carrier and broker perspective.

Prior to joining Medicus, he was the assistant vice president for both the Healthcare Divisions at Marsh U.S. and Unitas Insurance Brokers Inc.
