Florida’s Patriot Forms Private Label Workers’ Compensation Unit

Fort Lauderdale-based wholesale insurance broker Patriot Risk Management, Inc. has formed Patriot Underwriters, Inc. to help expand its insurance distribution and policyholder services business.

Patriot Underwriters will provide access to private label alternative and traditional workers’ compensation insurance products, according to Steven Mariano, CEO of Patriot Risk Management, Inc. He said the company will be announcing some new partnerships in the coming weeks.

The plan calls for Patriot Underwriters to offer private label product design, marketing, distribution, underwriting, policy management, claims management, nurse case management, cost containment services, subrogation recovery, and captive management services.
