West Virginia Conference to Examine Brownfields Insurance Issues
Representatives from government, the private sector and communities will gather in Huntington, West Virginia to discuss the challenges of redeveloping brownfields.
Brownfields are properties where redevelopment is difficult because of environmental concerns, such as the presence or potential presence of hazardous substances.
The 2008 West Virginia State Brownfields Conference will look at environmental insurance, rail trail development on brownfields, site selection and other redevelopment issues.
The conference is scheduled for Sept. 10-11 at the Pullman Plaza Hotel.
