Federal Disaster Loan Deadline Looms in West Virginia
The application deadline for federal disaster loans is approaching for businesses and people hurt by severe weather in a dozen West Virginia counties last month.
The U.S. Small Business Administration says applications are due Aug. 19 for damage caused by severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, mudslides and landslides that occurred from June 3 to June 7.
Loans are available in Barbour, Clay, Doddridge, Gilmer, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Marion, Taylor, Tucker, Tyler and Wetzel counties. Homeowners, renters, nonprofits and businesses are eligible to apply.
