First Guard Insurance Adds N.C. and N.J. to License List

Venice, Fla.-based First Guard Insurance Co., will begin writing business direct in North Carolina and New Jersey effective Jan. 1, 2008.

Currently, FGIC is licensed in twenty-three states, primarily concentrated east of the Mississippi. The insurer specializes in coverage for truck damage on commercial (Class 8) vehicles.

First Guard is rated “A” by AM Best.
