Montgomery Insurance Appoints Vice President to Atlanta Region

Montgomery Insurance, a member of Liberty Mutual Group announced the appointment of Christopher Piela, regional vice president, Atlanta Region.

Piela will be responsible for the profitable growth of personal and commercial lines business and the management of agencies appointed with Montgomery Insurance throughout Georgia.

In this capacity, he will oversee a growth plan in Georgia, where Montgomery Insurance has recently added underwriting staff, agency specialists, and operational services. In support of this focus, Mr. George Zink was named marketing manager, Atlanta Region.

Prior to his appointment with Montgomery Insurance, Piela was manager, Field Operations Analysis, Liberty Mutual Agency Markets at the Boston corporate headquarters. Piela also previously served as chief financial officer, Specialty Risks, Liberty Mutual Commercial Markets, where he was responsible for Liberty Mutual’s Property, Surety, and Alternative Markets’ books of business.
