Fla. Insurer Group Places New Chairman
The Florida Insurance Council installed George Grawe, Regional Counsel for Allstate Insurance Company and the Allstate Floridian Insurance Companies, St. Petersburg, as 2007/2008 Chairman of its Executive Committee and Board during the Council’s annual conference June 24-27.
As Chairman, Mr. Grawe will direct the work of the Executive Committee and Board and work closely with FIC President Guy Marvin, Executive Vice President Sam Miller and other staff in providing member companies with educational programs, research, and representation before consumer, legislative, regulatory, and judiciary organizations.
Grawe began his legal career as an assistant city attorney in the Tampa City Attorney’s Office. Following that three-year stint, he has served as a legal advocate for the insurance industry since 1987.
Other officers installed at the annual conference are: Chair-Elect Bill Dudley; Treasurer Kurt Driscoll; and Secretary James Trafton.
