Charlotte, N.C. Resident Arrested for Identity Theft, Insurance Fraud
A Charlotte, N.C. faces six felony charges including three counts of identity theft and three counts of insurance fraud, according to Insurance Commissioner Jim Long.
Insurance Department investigators allege that Leetwain Darrel Tate, 30, of 2540 7th St., used stolen personal information of a Charlotte woman to obtain auto insurance policies in her name.
Investigators arrested Tate on June 20.
