Viewing Today, Funeral Saturday in Fort Pierce, Fla. for ‘Eddie’ Enns
Edwin Gladwin “Eddie” Enns, founder and owner of the Enns Agency, an independent agency in Fort Pierce, Fla. died Wednesday of pancreatic cancer.
Enns, who was 72, ran the agency for 35 years and at the same time held numerous community positions, including eight years as the mayor of Fort Pierce and a member of the St. Lucie County Commission for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Dye Enns; two sons, Stephen Enns and Edward Enns Jr.; two daughters, Mary Margaret Knight and Susannah Enns.
There will be a viewing today from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Old City Hall, 318 Ave. A., Fort Pierce. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Fort Pierce.
