IIANC Names Morehead City Branch of Burns & Wilcox Broker of the Year
The Young Agents Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) has named the Morehead City office of national specialty insurance wholesaler, underwriter and managing general agent Burns & Wilcox Ltd., broker of the year. The announcement was made by Karen Toler, branch manager of the Morehead City, N.C., office of Burns & Wilcox Ltd.
IIANC awarded the Broker of the Year honors to Burns & Wilcox for “demonstrating support for association activities and commitment to the independent agency system.”
Brokers were judged on market availability, competitiveness in pricing, underwriting personnel, product delivery, claim settlement, marketing, product development, accounting contracts, agency contracts and overall agency/company relations.
The award was presented to Toler during IIANC’s annual Young Agent’s Conference, June 13-15, in Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
