Alabama Schedules January Auto Rate Hearing

A public hearing on the proposed revision of Alabama personal auto liability and physical damage rates and rules as filed and requested by Safeway Insurance Company of Alabama, is planned for January 14, 2003, at the Alabama Insurance Department, Conference Room, 17th Floor, RSA Tower, 201 Monroe Street, Montgomery, Ala.

According to the Alabama Department of Insurance, failure of a company representative to be present at this hearing may result in a denial of that company’s request for a rate and/or rule change.

Interested parties may submit a written statement in favor or against the proposed change in rates and may, in addition, make an oral statement at the hearing.
