Alabama Eligible for Federal Assistance
The Alabama Department of Insurance and the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that President George W. Bush declared Alabama a federal disaster, making 28 counties eligible for federal assistance following numerous tornadoes which struck the state on Nov. 5th and 10th.

Those needing assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency may contact FEMA by calling their help line (800) 621-FEMA (3362).
