Wisconsin’s Society Insurance to Enter Texas Hospitality Market
Wisconsin-based Society Insurance has plans to launch its insurance programs for the hospitality industry in Texas this year.
In business for more than 100 years, Society Insurance offers property/casualty coverages, partnered with underwriting, risk management and claims handling for restaurants, bars, brewpubs, craft breweries and more. Specializing in comprehensive, tailor-made packages for businesses, Society will work with local independent insurance agents across the Austin, San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth markets.
In the wake of Winter Storm Uri earlier this year, Society Insurance partnered with restaurants in Austin, Texas, to coordinate the delivery of meals to hospitals and organizations in need. In total, Society donated and hand-delivered more than 1,300 meals to St. David’s Medical Center, Ascension Seton Medical Center, and SAFE Alliance shelters.
Headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wis., Society Insurance operates in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Tennessee and Colorado. It will launch in Texas in 2021.
