Margraves Serves as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston
Scott Margraves has been elected to serve as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston (IIAH) for a term that expires Aug. 31, 2018.
Margraves is a commercial lines producer for TDECU Insurance Agency LLC. He has been with TDECU for three years. Prior to TDECU, he was with W. M. Jones and Company, Bowen Miclette and Britt and BancorpSouth/GEM Insurance. His client base consists of medium sized businesses.
Margraves holds the CIC professional insurance designation. He continues to serve on IIAH’s Legislative Committee and is chairman for IIAH’s annual IMPACT solicitation drive.
In addition, the following were elected as officers of IIAH: President-Elect Wesley Kurtz, Pathfinder LL & D Insurance Group; Vice President Stuart Ray, Higginbotham Insurance; Treasurer Chris Goff, HARCO Insurance Services; Immediate Past President, Daphne B. Clark, Hotchkiss Insurance Agency; and Secretary Carole Shelton.
New directors include: Brett Herrington, Marsh and McLennan Agency; Ryan Moorehead, All Risks Ltd.; Jason Nybakken, IBC Insurance Agency; and Charles M. Vieau, HUB International Insurance Services.
