Vandals Cause $80K in Damage to Oklahoma Grain Elevator

July 14, 2016

Enid, Okla., police are asking for the public’s help to find whoever caused $80,000 in damage at an area grain company.

KOCO-TV reports that someone went into a grain elevator through an unlocked door, opened 190 grain chutes and let out about 3,000 bushels of grain.

Authorities say two 1,500-foot grain belts were sliced in two.

Enid police Lt. Tim Jacobi says the damage was done sometime over the Fourth of July weekend.
