Farmers Insurance Estimates Loss from South Central Storms at $90M
Farmers Insurance has estimated an overall loss of $90 million resulting from severe weather that moved through portions of Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri at the end of December.
The region experienced heavy rain, strong winds and hail. Multiple tornadoes in North Texas area caused the most damage.
Farmers reports more than 3,900 claims filed already and anticipates another 4,000 claims as a result of the storms.
