Texas Wholesale Insurance Group Founder, Myron Steves, Passes
Texas independent managing general agency and wholesale insurance broker, Myron Steves, announced the passing of its founder and namesake, Myron F. Steves, Sr., with the following message:
With a heavy heart we share the news that Myron Fuller Steves, Sr., our founder, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the age of 103. He was the foundation of the success of our company since its inception in 1955.
Myron was awarded the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation in 1949. His lifelong commitment to the insurance industry will continue through an endowment in his name at the University of Houston – Downtown. Myron’s legacy will live on through his family, the people he touched, and the employees of Myron Steves.
The story to be told today should not be of his passing, but instead, the wonderful story of his life! Myron brought joy, kindness, and an unequaled sense of humor and love to family and friends.
