Farmers Expects $80 Million in Claims from May Storms
Storms moving through multiple states at the end of May including Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas, have resulted in more than 9,000 claims already filed across multiple states for Farmers Insurance.
Farmers expects to see nearly 15,000 claims across nine impacted states. Insured damages stemming from these series of storms are likely to total approximately $80 million.
Since the storms struck, Farmers Insurance specialized catastrophe adjusters and agents have assisted customers across the country.
According to Farmers Insurance, one key to a quick recovery is a speedy response.
Utilizing the latest in geo-technology, catastrophe claims staff analyzed the incoming claims and deployed resources and personnel to ensure a prompt and efficient response.
