Firefighters Suspect Arson in Fire at Tulsa, Oklahoma Business

Tulsa firefighters say a blaze that consumed a midtown vacuum store was intentionally set.

Firefighters were called out around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning to the Teter Sweepers business after witnesses reported seeing smoke as far as one mile away. Responders were able to contain the fire in about 20 minutes.

Fire Capt. Chad Meyer tells the Tulsa World that fires were set in multiple areas of the building but didn’t say what started them. He says the building is a complete loss.

No injuries were reported.

The Tulsa Fire Department and the Tulsa Police Department are investigating.
