Higginbotham Unites Houston Offices
Independent insurance firm, Higginbotham, announced has united its three Houston offices under one roof and one operating name.
Chapman Schewe Benefits Consulting, Madison Benefits Group and Swantner & Gordon are partners in the Higginbotham group. They moved Jan. 16, to a shared space in Energy Tower I. Coinciding with the move, the partners are adopting the Higginbotham corporate name.
Higginbotham entered theHouston market in 2008 when it merged with Madison Benefits Group. Swantner & Gordon followed in 2010 and Chapman Schewe in 2013, each time with its practice leaders becoming significant shareholders and managing directors.
Managing Directors Harry Chapman, Jim Ledbetter and Dudley Ray who have led Chapman Schewe, Madison Benefits Group and Swantner & Gordon respectively, will collectively continue guiding Higginbotham’s efforts in Houston.
The combined workforce of 85 insurance and administrative professionals in Houston is supported by an additional 600 associates statewide.
Higginbotham is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
