Scholarships Awarded to Texas Women in Insurance Group Members

The National Alliance presented five scholarships to Federation of Insurance Women of Texas Incorporated (FIWT) members at the organization’s 70th Annual Convention, held in Waco, Texas.

The CIC and CISR scholarships were awarded at a special recognition ceremony at the convention on Oct. 18, 2014. Each scholarship grants full tuition to one program conducted by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

Scholarships Awarded

• CIC Update Scholarship: Rebecca Schreiber, Borden Insurance Corpus Christi
• CIC Scholarship: Rhonda Whoolery, Risk Placement Services Inc., Austin
• CISR Update Scholarship: Eloise Padron, Shepard Walton King Insurance Group, Harlingen
• CISR Scholarships: Karen Brady, Barnard Insurance Agency LLP, Wichita Falls; and Maria Longoria, Borden Insurance, Corpus Christi
