Magnitude 3.7 Quake Rattles Perry, Oklahoma, Area
The U.S. Geological Survey says an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 has rattled an area south of Perry on Sept. 12.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage following Friday morning’s earthquake. The USGS says the quake was centered about 10 miles south of Perry, or about 60 miles north of Oklahoma City.
The earthquake shook the area at about 9:42 a.m.
The USGS says the quake had a depth of about three miles.
