Galveston Insurance Associates now a Member of the Insurors Group

Galveston Insurance Associates, located in Galveston and Friendswood, Texas, has joined the Insurors Group LLC, an alliance of independent insurance agents in the state of Texas.

Galveston Insurance Associates (GIA) was founded in 1892 and is the oldest insurance agency in Galveston County.

GIA President Garry Kaufman is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), a former chairman and board member of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA), and currently serves on the IIAT Services board of directors.

The Insurors Group, based in Austin, has 11 other member agencies strategically located across Texas.
