Specialty Insurance Managers Launches High Value Homeowners Program
Specialty Insurance Managers Inc., a managing general agent based in Austin, Texas, has begun offering a new high value homeowners insurance program in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas, with plans to expand into additional territories.
The MGA hired Chris Hayes, a former Lloyds of London underwriter, to oversee the program and facilitate the expansion into additional states.
Program features include:
- First tier wind capacity available (other than Galveston County, Texas)
- Up to $15,000,000 property
- Up to $1,000,000 CPL
- Up to $250,000 scheduled personal articles floater
- Occupancy can be primary, secondary, seasonal, rental, vacant or builders’ risk
- HO3, HO5, HO6, DP3 forms available
- Condo units written
- Home in corporate/LLC names can be written
- PC9 and 10 available
- Written with Underwriters at Lloyd’s
- Earthquake may be included as an endorsed peril
- Excess flood may be written as an endorsed peril
- Sub-limits for water back-up, ordinance and law, LAE and identity fraud expense available
- No credit scores needed to quote
