Texas-Based NLASCO Re-Brands as National Lloyds Corp,
Waco, Texas-based NLASCO, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings Inc., announced that the company has changed its name to National Lloyds Corp.
This change is part of National Lloyds Corp.’s overall re-branding efforts that include redesigned logos for the company and its subsidiaries, as well as a new National Lloyds corporate website.
National Lloyds Corp., an insurance holding company with origins dating to 1948 and based in Waco, Texas, is a niche property and casualty underwriter that targets underserved markets in Texas and other Southern states.
National Lloyds Corp. specializes in writing fire and homeowners insurance policies for low-value dwellings and manufactured homes. Policies are sold via independent agents through the company’s two wholly owned subsidiaries: National Lloyds Insurance Co. and American Summit Insurance Co.
The re-branding is effective immediately. Agents can expect to see these changes on forthcoming forms and other materials. The new National Lloyds corporate website is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2013.
