The Kirksey Agency Joins Louisiana Agency Partners
Louisiana Agency Partners (LAP) announced that The Kirksey Agency in West Monroe, La., has become the 12th member agency of the Louisiana-based network of independent insurance agencies.
According to Joe Cunningham Jr., the managing partner of LAP, The Kirksey Agency will solidify the group’s presence in northeast Louisiana and add a diversified commercial book of business as well as increased personal lines to the overall LAP portfolio.
The Kirksey Agency has been in business for 30 years.
“We’re always on the look-out for good, profitable, well-run agencies to join LAP and some of our members are looking for good, solid agency acquisitions as well,” Cunningham said.
Louisiana Agency Partners is a group of independent agencies located in central and north Louisiana that utilize company roll-up codes to combine their personal and commercial lines books of business for increased company profit-sharing opportunities. All LAP-affiliated agencies own their own books and have their own independent contracts with the carriers involved in the roll-up.
