Hub International Acquires Texas-based Roy Agency
Chicago-based Hub International Limited (Hub) has acquired the Roy Agency Inc. (Roy), an insurance brokerage firm headquartered in Plano, Texas.
The Roy team will become part of Hub International Rigg (Hub Texas). Agency principals and founders, Denise M. Roy, president, and Christopher J. (CJ) Roy, vice president, will join Hub Texas, reporting to Gregory Louvier Sr., president and chief operations officer, Hub Texas.
Founded in 1988, Roy provides commercial property and casualty insurance and risk management solutions. The firm’s diversified book of business spans various industries including construction contractors, manufacturers, and service industry providers in Texas. The firm also is active in many industry professional associations in Texas.
This acquisition gives Hub the opportunity to offer a wide array of employee benefits, life, and personal insurance offerings to Roy clients, according to Hub.
