Maclean Oddy Adds New Executives in Houston and Dallas
Excess and surplus lines wholesale broker Maclean Oddy & Associates Inc. appointed Stan Ackerman as senior vice president and manager of the property division in its Houston office, and Nancy Self as vice president and producer in Dallas, effective immediately. Both will report to Maclean Oddy President Stuart Dobbie.
Ackerman, most recently with AON, has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, specializing in natural resources, energy, power, HPR, chemical and petrochemical accounts. Since starting his career in technical underwriting, he has developed expertise in risk management as well as retail and wholesale brokerage for domestic and international clients.
Self, formerly with All Risks Ltd., has more than 17 years of experience in the excess and surplus industry and is a specialist in the production and marketing of casualty insurance.
Also joining Maclean Oddy is Self’s colleague, Sarah Hamilton, who will assist with new business development.
Maclean, Oddy & Associates, with offices in Dallas, Houston and New Orleans, is a unit of Faber & Dumas, a third-party wholesale insurance broker.
