Frost Insurance Buys North Texas Agency
Frost Insurance, a subsidiary of Frost, has acquired Seeberger Insurance Associates, an independent insurance agency based in Plano, Texas, that specializes in group employee benefits plans.
Frost Insurance reported the acquisition was effective July 1, 2008.
“Seeberger Insurance Associates, owned and operated by Mark Seeberger, has offered insurance products to customers in the Dallas area since 1975, with a focus on group employee benefits,” said Ken North, Dallas market president for Frost Insurance.
The Seeberger team will move into Frost Insurance’s Dallas location at 5710 LBJ Freeway on July 14.
Seeberger Insurance Associates is the ninth acquisition made by Frost Insurance. Earlier acquisitions include: Professional Insurance Agents Inc. in 1999; Houston-based Wayland Hancock Insurance Agency Inc. in 2000; Austin-based Nieman Hanks Puryear and Nieman Hanks Puryear Benefits in 2000; Fort Worth-based AIS Insurance and Risk Management in 2001, Victoria-based Jentsch Financial Group in 2002; Fort-Worth-based Brokers Insurance Designs in 2003; Dallas-based The Sammons Group in 2004; and Austin-based Prime Benefits in 2007.
