Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association Elects Officers
The Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association has elected of officers for 2008-2009.
Elected chair of the Governing Committee is Corise Morrison, executive director, residual markets, USAA, San Antonio. She previously served as vice chair.
Carol Berthold, general manager, GEICO, Washington, D. C., was elected vice chair; Bill Jeter, public member on the Governing Committee, College Station, Texas, will become second vice chair and Fred Strauss, product manager, Allstate Insurance, Northbrook, Ill., will assume the position of secretary treasurer.
TAIPA was created by state statute to provide automobile bodily injury and property insurance required by the Texas Motor Vehicle Responsibility Act.
