Agency Exec. Appointed to North Dallas Chamber Board of Directors
Stacey Miller, a vice president of Dallas-based independent insurance brokerage, Roach Howard Smith & Barton, has been appointed to the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce (NDCC) Board of Directors, the agency announced.
As an NDCC-appointed director, Miller will be involved in setting chamber policy on everything from internal financial and audit procedures to local political issues. She will initially serve a one-year term, after which she will be asked to serve a three-year term as an elected director.
Miller is a vice president at Roach Howard Smith & Barton, which provides business insurance solutions to companies of all sizes and personal insurance to individuals and families. Her professional background includes more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry, during which she has specialized primarily in claims management and risk control.
Miller holds several industry designations, which include her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations, in addition to holding a Real Estate license. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association, the Dallas Claims Association and Public Risk Insurance Management Association (PRIMA).
Miller is active in the North Texas community, where she volunteers for Attitudes & Attire, a nonprofit agency dedicated to promoting personal growth for women seeking self-sufficiency, and is a member of eWomenNetwork, a network of female business owners and professionals dedicated to connecting and promoting women and their business on local, national and global levels.
