Texas Construction Company Funds Safety Scholarship
The American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) Region III, which encompasses Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, announced that Austin, Texas-based McComb Construction Company donated $4,000 toward the establishment of a new Region III – McComb Construction Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) Scholarship.
The scholarship will be open to undergraduate and graduate students in the Region III area pursuing studies in the occupational safety, health and environmental, or related, field.
To further increase educational opportunities for students, ASSE chapters, individuals and companies will also have the opportunity to donate additional funds toward the Region III scholarship.
