Texas Workers’ Comp Division to Hold Hearing on Disability Management
The Texas Department of Insurance Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold a public hearing on Oct. 5, 2006, in Conference Room 100 (Commissioner’s Conference Room) of TDI’s Central Office located in the Hobby Building at 333 Guadalupe Street in Austin.
The public hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the Division will take testimony on the following rules:
CHAPTER 137 – Disability Management
Subchapter A – General Provisions
§137.1 Disability Management Concept (new)
Subchapter B – Return to Work
§137.10 Return to Work Guidelines (new)
Subchapter C – Treatment Guidelines
§137.100 Treatment Guidelines (new)
Subchapter E – Treatment Planning
§137.300 Treatment Planning (new)
These proposed rules were published in the Texas Register on Sept. 1, 2006, and may be viewed on the TDI Web site at www.tdi.state.tx.us/wc/rules/proposedrules/toc.html.
