Insurance and Bonds Inc. and Cadenhead Shreffler Insurance Announce Merger
Insurance and Bonds Inc. and Cadenhead Shreffler Insurance, two of Texas’ leading independent surety bonding and insurance agencies, recently announced that the companies have merged. The merger was finalized March 1 and has created one of the largest independent and locally owned insurance and surety bonding agencies in Texas, the companies said.
The combined entity will continue to service a wide-range of customers in diverse industries including construction, manufacturing, distribution and service across Texas.
“As an independent and locally owned agency, we are empowered to make decisions based on our knowledge of local conditions and market realities,” said William B. Cadenhead, president and chief executive officer. “We don’t work under a corporate dictate set by someone who is far removed from the communities we serve.”
In addition to construction surety bonds and insurance products, customers of the new firm have access to other business-oriented benefits including personnel management services, employee benefits, safety communication programs and workers’ compensation claims management.
“We offer more than a commodity product,” said Pat J. Moore, chairman. “”We become trusted advisors to our clients in a true partnership for mutual success.”
Joining Moore and Cadenhead as partners in the company are Michael Hendrickson in the Dallas/Fort Worth region and Joe Clayburne, Bryan Moore and Robert Nelson in San Antonio and South Texas.
