Gallagher Acquires Okla.’s Horton Insurance Agency

Illinois-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced it has acquired Horton Insurance Agency Inc. of Oklahoma City, Okla. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Formed in 1983, Horton Insurance Agency Inc. is a retail insurance broker offering risk management, commercial property/casualty, life and health insurance services to their clients throughout the United States. They specialize in the construction, property management, public entity, real estate and hospitality industries and focus on large, complex accounts.

Dick Horton and his staff will continue to operate in their Oklahoma City location under the direction of James J. Braniff III, South Central regional manager of Gallagher’s Brokerage Services Division – Retail.
