American Financial Services Now AFS/IBEX

American Financial Services Now AFS/IBEX||Dallas-based premium financing company, American Financial Services Inc., announced a name change. The company now calls itself AFS/IBEX Financial Services Inc.

The firm’s California subsidiary is also changing its name from IBEX Financial Services Inc. to AFS/IBEX Financial Services of California. It is located in Tustin, Calif.

Both changes were effective Jan. 1, 2004.

Established in 1986, AFS/IBEX provides commercial lines premium financing to independent insurance agents in 15 states. Long-range plans call for expansion into additional areas under the new name.

“This name will give us national brand recognition while maintaining customer loyalty,” said company president, John F. Holsan. “As AFS/IBEX, we can ultimately operate on a national level with a single name.”
