West Promoted to Assistant VP at Western Surplus Lines

Western Surplus Lines Agency Inc., Abilene, Texas, announced it has promoted Jason West to assistant vice president of the E&S and Energy contract authority and specialty brokerage departments.

West will be responsible for underwriting, production, and technical account service activities related to Western’s non-auto E&S business. He will assist executive management in continuing to develop and enhance Western’s various property, casualty and specialty oil & gas related E&S insurance products.

He started his career with Western in 1993 as manager of the company’s premium finance company, Insurance Credit Corp. Prior to his promotion, West was the manager of the program energy department.
