U.S. Risk Selects Thazar’s INSsight

Frisco, Texas-based Thazar, a Skywire Software company, announced today that U.S. Risk Insurance Group has selected the INSsight business intelligence and Executive Information System (EIS), which was designed exclusively for the P/C insurance industry.

U.S. Risk will use INSsight to manage the performance of its excess and surplus (E&S) and specialty insurance product lines, agent and other distribution channels, and claims operations. According to Thazar, analysis conducted from client data and an independent consultant indicates most P/C insurers using INSsight can achieve a one to four point reduction in their loss ratio.

Thazar was recently acquired by Skywire Software, a software development and EAI products and services company, along with investment partner Tobat Capital. Skywire Software manages Thazar as a separate operating unit, and Thazar’s products and services are available through Skywire Software’s Insurance Suite.
