People Moves: Howden Launches US Cyber Practice
Howden today announced the launch of a U.S. cyber practice, with Juliet White hired as head of cyber and Lou Botticelli as cyber brokerage leader.
Since May 2022, White has been head of cyber at E&O at Vantage Risk Cos. Before that, she was head of cyber in North America for AXA XL.
Botticelli arrives after more than 10 years at Markel, where he was most recently managing director, cyber and professional liability.
Also as part of the team, Jessica Daehler was named cyber growth and strategy leader; Suzane Gladle was appointed cyber client engagement and service leader; David Hau will be cyber private equity and M&A solutions leader; and Natalia Santiago was hired as head of cyber claims.
Daehler, Gladle, and Santiago each come from McGriff, a Marsh &McLennan Agency company.
Howden said the team augments its international cyber team, taking the number of experts to more than 150 across 5 continents.
“In what is still a relatively young product line, and with companies facing a fluid threat landscape dominated by a series of high severity ransomware attacks, assembling a truly formidable team empowered to make the best decisions is a crucial differentiator for clients,” said Ron Borys, head of financial lines, Howden US. “I am very proud that Juliet, Lou, Jessica, Suzane, David and Natalia have chosen to join Howden. Their incredible knowledge and expertise in the cyber sector will take our global capability to the next level and enhance the service and advice we can offer.”
