January 7, 2025

Old Republic International Corp. said it is forming a new subsidiary for cyber and technology errors and omissions insurance products.

Old Republic Cyber Inc. will be led by CJ Pruzinsky, formerly of Resilience. He will serve as president of the Old Republic Cyber and will focus on providing specialized cyber and tech coverage. He has also worked at AIG and Beazley during his 18 years of cyber underwriting experience.

Pruzinsky in June 2023 was promoted by Resilience to global head of underwriting and sales after he led the underwriting team from the launch of the company’s managing general agency.

Kevin McGowan will be the new company’s executive vice president and chief underwriting officer. His 15 years of cyber underwriting experience includes time with ACE, Beazley, and Resilience.

Old Republic Cyber will be the seventh new specialty company that Old Republic has launched in the last nine years, adding further diversification, depth, and talent to the Old Republic General Insurance Group.
