McGill Hires Milne and Cabot to US Property Team

McGill and Partners, headquartered in London, appointed Duncan Milne and Cabot Lyman as partners to the firm’s U.S. property team.

Milne joins the firm as a partner and head of U.S. property. He brings over 16 years of industry experience, most recently serving as the Greater New York property leader at Aon.

Cabot joins McGill and Partners as partner, U.S. property, bringing a decade of experience from Aon, where she served as senior vice president and team leader in the Aon Property Practice. She previously served in research and production for The Capital Roundtable and as an international media sales planner at CNBC.

Lawrence Joins Alliant Construction Services Group

James Lawrence joined Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, California, as executive vice president, Alliant Specialty, in the firm’s construction services group. Lawrence is based in Los Angeles.

Lawrence began his insurance career in 1987 at an insurance brokerage firm where he focused on specialty and environmental contractors. He will focus on serving his client base, primarily in the construction industry, as well as nationwide business development.

Bowman Promoted to Head of Multinational for Berkshire Hathaway Specialty

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), headquartered in Boston, promoted Amy Bowman to head of multinational. She was previously vice president of multinational.

Bowman has more than two decades of experience as an attorney and in insurance leadership. She joined BHSI in 2014 as counsel for executive & professional, healthcare and small commercial business. She later took on the roles of assistant vice president of transactional liability and assistant vice president, then vice president of multinational. She is based in Boston.
