RT Specialty Promotes Mitchell to President of Workers’ Compensation Practice

RT Specialty promoted Jim Mitchell to national workers’ compensation practice president.

Mitchell has been with RT Specialty since 2020, joining with the acquisition of All Risks, Ltd., where he was vice president, workers compensation and accident and health. Mitchell also previously worked as sales development manager at Wausau Insurance and underwriting Manager at Royal & SunAlliance and Aetna C&S.

Wu Joins Axis as Head of N.A. Specialty Markets Distribution

Axis Capital Holdings said Edmond Wu has joined the company as head of distribution – specialty markets, North America. In this newly created role, Wu’s focus will be supporting and growing our existing U.S., Canada, and Bermuda strategic partnerships. Based in New York, he reports to Ed Ashby, Global Head of Distribution.

Most recently, Wu was head of global specialty sales and distribution at The Hartford.
