Simmons brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience and was previously at Nexus Group, serving as vice president of MPL. Before Nexus, Simmons was chief underwriting officer of ZONRe.
Sacco has over 12 years of underwriting experience and specializes in professional liability. He joins Falcon from Verus Specialty Insurance, where he was vice president, professional liability. He has experience in multiple lines, including A&E, MPL, LPL and cyber.
Everest Names Mulray President of North America Insurance
Everest Re Group, Ltd. has appointed Mike Mulray as executive vice president and president of North America insurance. Mulray most recently served as global chief operating officer for Everest Insurance.
Mulray has more than 25 years of insurance leadership experience. He joined Everest in 2015 as chief underwriting officer. He led several of the insurance division’s key functional areas, including actuarial pricing and modeling, business performance management and analytics, corporate underwriting, risk and ceded reinsurance, operations and eIQ, Everest’s innovation team. Mulray is a member of the Everest Executive Leadership Committee. Everest Re Group is based in Hamilton, Bermuda.
