Empire Underwriters Expands Workers Comp Coverage to Various Trucking Classes
Empire Underwriters, a leading national insurance wholesaler, excess and surplus lines facility and program manager has released a new workers comp program for truckers, tow truck operators, and delivery companies backed by several “A” rated carriers.
With the launch of the new workers comp program for trucking companies, Empire Underwriters is able to accommodate a range of classifications and risks including workers comp for long haul truckers, local delivery, Amazon parcel delivery companies, cement truckers and more. Empire can also place “tough to write” accounts such as high X mod and multi-state accounts. Additionally, the program will feature options such as guaranteed cost, first dollar coverage, loss sensitive rating plans and large deductible plans.
Hugo Soltero, vice president and senior broker at Empire Underwriters, said the company is aggressively appointing new producers to actively market its growing lineup of products. It is looking for producers in every state that are focused on growing their book of business.
Along with expansion into the trucking industry, Empire Underwriters is expanding into a number of other industry classes and coverages.
Empire Underwriters serves producers in 46 states.
