Liberty Mutual Restructures Distribution for Commercial & Specialty Products
Liberty Mutual has introduced a new distribution model for the U.S. in an effort to improve broker access to the insurer’s full suite of commercial and specialty insurance products.
Shaun Kelly, president Global Risk Solutions Distribution, said in a statement that company has organized the U.S. into six geographic regions, and each region will be managed by a regional executive.
“Each region will have a number of branch executives who will oversee broker relationships on a local level,” Kelly said. “This structure provides distribution partners access to the full capability of Liberty and Ironshore more easily, and will create new opportunities for us to work together in a multiline, collaborative way.”
The new regional executives are:
- Ron Gleason, South Central Regional Executive
- Chris Johnston, Midwest Regional Executive
- Amy Lochhead, Southeast Regional Executive
- David Russo, Mid Atlantic Regional Executive
- Bob Thomas, Northeast Regional Executive
- Adam Witten, Western Regional Executive
In addition to the regional executives, Liberty Mutual has named Ben Johnson as Wholesale Distribution Executive. Johnson will focus on optimizing relationships with wholesale distribution partners across North America.
Liberty Mutual is the 5th largest global property and casualty insurer based on 2017 gross written premium, with nearly 50,000 employees in 30 countries.
