Argo Names Duncan to Lead U.S. Specialty Programs
Specialty insurer Argo Group has appointed Marsh Duncan to serve as senior vice president U.S. Specialty Programs, effective immediately. In this role, Duncan will lead the company’s strategy to offer customized insurance products and services through specialized program administrators.
Duncan replaces Andrew Borst, who served as senior vice president U.S. Specialty Programs for almost five years before becoming Argo Group’s chief administrative officer for the U.S.
Duncan previously served as head of digital business development at Argo Group. His career has been focused on environmental risks and commercial general liability insurance. He served as senior vice president of Argo’s environmental business for six years and has spent more than 20 years in the insurance industry, including positions at Chubb (Ace Westchester) and Gulf Insurance Group.
Bart Schaffer and Alan Wynn will continue to lead their businesses, U.S. Commercial Programs and Alternative Risk Solutions, respectively. They will report directly to Duncan.
